A successful life Coach!
Mina Kalyan is the winner of the Mrs. International America Curvy 2023 title in the Miss International America pageant conducted by MyDream TV USA held in Seattle.
She walked the pageant to share the message that beauty is beyond age, size, color, and gender.
Mina is a successful life coach who helps people be their best version. She is a philanthropist who wants to spread kindness.
She did her schooling in Chennai and moved to the United States for her higher studies. She says “I have been fascinated by fashion shows and pageants ever since I was a little girl but I was too afraid to even dream about it.
So, when I was presented with an opportunity to participate in this Pageant earlier this year, I declined the opportunity thinking this is not the right time.
There were many thoughts and doubts that were running through my mind; like I am at my heaviest self, how this will affect my role as a mom, a wife, and so many other reasons.
When we have been doing something for so long, we often identify ourselves with the role and lose our identity. In this process, we also become afraid of pursuing our dreams and forget our voice.
However, I was not ready to quit this time without trying. So, I enrolled and walked in the pageant.” She participated in this pageant to convey the message that everyone is beautiful irrespective of size, color, shape, and age.
She believes in it so much that she faced her fears of participating in a pageant at her heaviest self. She wants to spread this message and what better way than the wonderful platform that a pageant offers?
She thanks her pageant coach Meenal Drockz, the organizers Rashmi Bedi and Janak Bedi, and her family for all the support they have given to make this happen.
Mina wants to spread kindness and encourage people to own their beauty. Everyone is beautiful and we all are here for a purpose that is equally important.
