With the current Disengagement between India and China’s Pangong – 10th round of talks to be held today.

India and china is having talks to not indulge in any hostilities or war like situation

Top Indian and Chinese military officials will meet today for the tenth time to continue the process of deportation from the Galwan Valley, official sources said. The cycle comes a day after it emerged that two soldiers had completed withdrawing troops and military equipment from banks at Pangong Lake in Ladakh. After several negotiations, the withdrawal process began on February 10. The Corp Commander-level negotiations are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. today at the Moldo border with China's  Line of Actual Control (LAC) east of Ladakh, sources said.

The talks began on June 6, 2020, as part of a process of "cross-cutting" in all LAC sensitive areas, a facto border between the two countries in the region. In April 2020, India accused Chinese troops of infiltrating their LAC side.

Matters came to a head with the killing of 20 Indian soldiers during a June 15 battle in Galwan Valley in Ladakh. Just yesterday, China officially acknowledged the casualties on its side, naming four officers and soldiers who have been killed in the conflict.

The two sides have been talking to each other ever since to reduce hostilities. In a statement sent to Parliament on February 11, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said China would withdraw its troops east of Finger 8 areas on the northern bank of Pangong lake while Indian workers would be at their permanent base at Dhan Singh Thapa Post near Finger 3 region.

He said the same would happen to the southern bank of the lake. The Minister of Defense said it had been agreed to convene the next summit of senior leaders within 48 hours of the expulsion from Pangong to resolve any remaining issues.

He later said some of the outstanding "problems", including Depsang, Hot Springs, and Gogra, would be taken up during the next military talks.
