Women splashes acid on a lover.
A 27-year-old woman was arrested on Tuesday after she was charged with allegedly trying to splash acid on her lover who refused to continue their relationship at Belcherra village in the khowai district of Tripura.
According to the police, Local has been sent to judicial custody for 14 days, Bina sainthal and her 30-year-old lover Soman Sainthal were in a live-in relationship for 9 years in Pune and are neighbours in Tripura. Bina worked as a domestic helper and did other daily wage jobs to support him and helped him with his studies .later, after completing the studies in college he started working in a private company and they came back to Tripura in 2019. Then he stopped the communication with Bina. She tried to find him and later she spotted him at Khowai on October 19 and tried to talk to him. The police said that the boy refused to talk and Bina out of anger reportedly splashed acid over him.
Suman received some serious burn injuries in his face and upper body and he was admitted at the local Hospital later he was shifted to Govind Ballabh Pant (GBP) hospital at Agartala due to his serious condition.
Syed Uddin, the case investigating officer said that "We have arrested the accused on Tuesday evening after the victim's family members complained to Khowai police station".
Acid attack cases are still rising and though it's banned in India people are purchasing it by giving bribe, buying it from the local near stores and are killing the lives of other people.
