On Monday, a burnt body of a woman was found in Telangana's Moinabad, police said.
The body of a woman was found with 90 per cent burns on a road leading to farmland in the village.
Farmers on their way to their respective farms had noticed the burnt body and informed the Moinabad police on Monday. The police reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem.
Initial investigation revealed that the accused must have murdered her, brought her to the farmland and burnt them.
"We have circulated information in the Hyderabad, Cyberabad, and Rachakonda Commissionates asking for a missing complaint of any woman being reported," said G Pavan Kumar Reddy Station House Officer of Moinabad, adding, "She has not been identified so far."
The post-mortem report is awaited.
