A woman who have three daughters gave birth to son four days ago alleges, when she raised the alarm hospital staff threatened her.
On Monday in Ludhiana, an unidentified woman stole a newborn boy from the mother, in child hospital in lord Mahavira civil hospital.
The woman entered the hospital as pretending a relative of someone admitted to the hospital. The newborn boy who was born four days ago she took him in her lap on the pretext to playing with him a suddenly walked away with him at 3.15am, according to the eyewitnesses.
Security camera footage shows woman leaving the hospital with the baby in her arms. The mother immediately raised the alarm and police were informed.
However, despite an extensive search, the police have been unable to locate the woman or the infant.
