Woman Trapped In Toilet For 1.5 Years By Her Husband

A women been trapped by her husband for 1.5 year


A 35-year-old woman was forcefully trapped in the toilet by her husband for 1.5 years, in Rishpur village, of Panipat District, claimed officials.
The victim is a mother of three children and she was rescued from a very small stinking toilet by the team of district women said Child Welfare Department officials on Wednesday.
The woman was reduced and taken to the hospital by the team and now she has been handed to her cousin. After getting the information about the accident the district officer Rajni Gupta search the house with the police department of the area.
The woman was found in a very miserable condition, she was lying on the toilet floor,barely able to walk and talk.During the investigation,they have found that the woman was forced to live in a toilet. She was not even getting the proper food and water to drink.She was so weak that when they offered her food to eat she ate 8 chapattis.
The woman was married to Naresh Kumar for the last 17 years and has three children, including a 15-year-old daughter and two sons.
In the interrogation with the police, Kumar claimed that she is suffering from some mental problem but when she met her family members she was able to recognize each one of them and answered all the question related to the investigation.
Although when the police asked her husband to show the proper medication paper of her illness he was unable to give the papers.
The police have arrested the culprit under Section 498A and 342 for IPC. The investigation has been underway according to Surender Dahiya  incharge of Sonali police station.
