World Economic Forum annual meeting cancelled


The World Economic Forum on Monday has canceled its annual meeting which was supposed to happen every year in providing a platform for resolving international conflicts in discussing all the world's problems, 2021 world economic world forum was supposed to be held this year in Singapore but due to the pandemic, it got canceled said by the organizer.

There is not a possible way in holding a meeting in this pandemic which will be a large event as arranged between August 17-20.In a statement, WEF says, "Regretfully, the tragic circumstances unfolding across geographies, an uncertain travel outlook, differing speeds of vaccination roll out and the uncertainty around new variants combine to make it impossible to realize a global meeting with business, government, and civil society leaders from all over the world at the scale which was planned”.

Since 1971 the events attract VIPs from the worlds of politics and business, At first, from last December due to health precaution the event was happening in the Swiss Alpine resort of Davos.Seeing the situation of the country, Singapore has inflicted in putting restrictions from last year's lockdown to control it without getting the situation worse. 

In considering WEF's decision to cancel the event,the trade ministry says, he would be accepting the fact of global pandemic particularly in holding a large event with extensive international participants.The World Economic Forum of 2022 will likely take place in the first half of the summer. The location, date, and time will take place by seeing the situation later this summer.

Earlier, last time nearly 3,000 participants has joined together from 130 countries came together in celebrating WEF in Davos, where all the global leaders to work together in shaping the global, regional, and industrial agenda. The Speakers of last year environmental activist Greta Thunberg and US President Donald Trump. In addition, Founder and Executive Chairman Klaus Schwab also says in the decision of canceling the event difficult, as in many people view, they want to "come together not just virtually but in person, and to contribute to a more strong, in all-inclusive and a supportable world, but they also mention in pointing the health protocols is the main priority.
