29TH SEPTEMBER is celebrated as World Heart Day.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), 31% of the total deaths are just due to cardiovascular diseases (CVDs).

Stress is one of the biggest factors affecting it.

 

According to Grandmaster Akshar, yoga master, philanthropist, lifestyle coach and an author. He explained the importance of maintaining good heart health and how yoga & exercise can help in maintaining it.

He stated that "The heart is a vital organ that pumps blood throughout the body fuelling it. We must take care of this most important organ by exercising it regularly by consuming nutritious food and intake of proper diet".

Further, he also added that "yoga is a science that is focused on holistic wellness that uses various methods such as Asanas, Pranayams, Meditation, Mudra and Chanting for individual well being".

Depression, anxiety and stress are the biggest factors for high blood pressure and cardiovascular disorders.

 

Grandmaster Akshar has also trained legendary cricketers such as Sunil Gavaskar, wrestling champions sister such as Geeta and Babita  Phogat and many more international Athletes too.

 

He mentioned some benefits of yoga" practising yoga regularly will lead towards a strong mind-body and will boost immunity".
