World Mental Health Day 2020: Moto- Coronavirus

World Health Day is celebrated on 10th October to live stress and fear-free day.


Sometimes people feel to share things with their open heart to close ones or relatives, colleagues or peers still the mind doesn't allow someone to do that. Why this often happens with people? Is there any problem or stress or inferiority that doesn't permit to do it? For these conditions, World Mental Health Day is observed every year on 10 October for global mental health education, awareness, advocacy against the social stigma that is often attached to it.

Basically, in today's scenario, people are suffering a great depression which is caused by the pandemic COVID-19. Not only in India but the world is suffering from this tiny the 26-kilobase virus originated from labs of Wuhan China. The virus has affected every segment of income, education and lifestyle. Increase in fear, stress and worries has perceived a lot.

According to a survey of WHO, it says that COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted or halted critical mental health services in 93% of countries worldwide while the demand for mental health is increasing. Almost 130 countries advised giving mental health report to the WHO. So, there would be an increase in funding and services.

The year 1992 was the year when an initiative of the World Federation for Mental Health celebrated the first-ever World Mental Health Day on 10th October.

Millions of supporters gather together to celebrate fear and stress-free days. Supporters participate in many welfare programmes and by bringing to attention the effects and illnesses related to mental health.

Every year themes are given for a Moto of the year. This year theme is COVID-19. It will talk about the effect it has had on the mental state of humans for the past 9-10 months.
