WTO Rules Breached By India Says China On 59 Apps Ban.

China says India breached WTO rules by banning 59 apps.

The Indian government’s decision to keep a ban on 59 Chinese apps was a violation of the World Trade Organization’s (WTO) fair rules and would impair the Chinese firms, said China on Wednesday. The Chinese Embassy spokesperson Ji Rong said in a statement “We urge the Indian side to immediately correct its discriminatory measures and avoid causing damage to bilateral cooperation."

Since last year the political tensions between India and China have risen in the border and this caused the banning of the Chinese apps by the government of India and this month the government has decided to keep a ban on the Tik Tok app and all other apps that it had banned earlier.
