Temperatures across Himachal Pradesh continued dipping down,  the state received more snow on Tuesday and snowfall is expected to continue in the next 24 hours. The Met office has issued a yellow alert on Wednesday.Snowfall in the higher reaches and rainfall in the middle and the lower heels of Himachal continued for the third consecutive days as yellow weather warnings have been issued for seven districts including Kashmir,spiti ,Shimla ,Mandi ,Chamba, Kangra and Kullu.

State meteorological department director Manmohan Singh said that,"snow and rain in isolated places of higher and Middle Hills are very likely to continue on 26th of November ". While the weather will remain clear in the lower Hills and plains on Wednesday, baralacha received around 70 cm snow ,Rohtang with 55cm and  Spiti with 5cm. Minimum temperature in Shimla was 6.5 °C while it was 3.9 °C in Kufri Manali in Kullu district recorded around 3.8 °C minimum temperature while it was 6.8°C  degree and 2.3°C degree in Dharamshala and Dalhousie respectively.

Extreme cold is forcing residents to stay in doors for the most part at 2.7 °,keylong was coldest place in Himachal followed by Kalpa at 1.6 °C .The Shimla Meteorological centre issued a yellow alert of heavy rain in the middle Hills and heavy snowfall in the High Heels on the state on Wednesday.
