Today, in a world where the coronavirus knocked on the doors of the world, in the difficult times in our life, yoga plays an effective role in shaping life, PM says. On the 7th International yoga day, this morning PM Narendra Modi addressed the people of the nation talking about yoga as an “inner peace” in the tough times of life. Yoga has become a great medium of self-confidence.

In a statement, he said about how Yoga will “continue playing its preventive and promotive role in the healthcare sectors. He addressed yoga as giving us a happier way of life.

In the event Narendra Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a mYoga app that will be available worldwide, with the collaboration with WHO, in the launching of mYoga app which all the yoga-related videos will be included in different language across the country which aims in providing ‘One World, One Health’ motto,” he adds. Moreover. When he talks with frontline workers & doctors they also aggress with the point yoga as a shield for protection against the virus.

Seeing the situation this year, the program has been virtual, In countries of the world, people’s enthusiasm for yoga has increased. The theme for International yoga day is Yoga For Wellness’ which focuses on practicing Yoga for physical and mental wellbeing.

The Ministry of Culture also celebrated the International Day of Yoga at 75 cultural heritage locations across the country. In Delhi red fort, Union Minister of State for Culture and Tourism, Prahlad Singh Patel performed yoga in various other monuments too. Yoga has been done with the number of participants for the sessions which was restricted to 20 at each site.
