12 hours night curfew imposed in Pune, restaurant, hotel, malls to remain shut for 7 days

Maharashtra's Deputy CM, Ajit Pawar has reviewed timings and has imposed a 12 hour night curfew in the pune district and the timing is from 6 pm to 6 am. Earlier the timings were 8 pm to 7 am. This will be imposed from tomorrow 3rd of April.

According to Pune Divisional commissioner, Saurabh Rao  He said that "All the malls, restaurants, bars, hotels and religious places will remain shut for 7 days", only restaurants are only allowed to provide food delivery services until 10 pm. Adding that Rao said that, "we have collectively  decided to take some measures, keeping in the mind the goal of causing minimal hassle to citizens, but those that will help us slow down the spread of the virus, A golden mean was settled upon" He said in a meeting.

Further added that no social, cultural or political events are allowed to take place for the next 7 days and this notice will be revised on next Friday. Only marriages with the limit of 50  and last rights with the limit of 20 are allowed during this time and PMPML bus services will only be available for essential workers and staff of that organization.

The meeting was attended by all the elected representatives including all the members of parliament Girish Bapat, Shrirang Barne, Vandana Chavan and Amol Kolhe.
