3 COVID-19 deaths in Maharashtra in 24 hours

450 new cases were reported.


The Maharashtra Health Department official informed that the infection is rising at a positive rate. Maharashtra reported nearly 450 new cases of Covid-19 virus infection and three deaths within 24 hours.

According to the integrated disease surveillance programme (IDSP), the number of active cases is increasing rapidly, with a total of 2343 cases at a percent rate of 1.82 in the state. They further shared the state date with the positive number of Covid-19 case, which is 81, 42,509, in which 230 patients are of the new XXB 1.16 variant in the state. 115 patients are from Pune, whereas 24 are from Aurangabad, 23 from Thane, 11 each from Kolhapur and Ahmedabad each, 8 from Amravati, and one each from Mumbai and Raigad.

Following the revised guidelines in cases of infection. Physical distancing is required, along with indoor mask use, hand hygiene, and seeking medical supervision if facing difficulties in breathing or high grade fever or serving cold that has persisted for more than 5 days.
