At least 30 people lost their lives in a landslide in Maharashtra's Talie Village. Raigad district guardian Minister, Aditi Tatkare said, a team of 20 local rescuers are involved in removing debris while National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and police are searching for the missing persons. whereas a team of 20 local rescuers are also involved in removing debris. It also said "Rescuers are finding it difficult to search for missing persons due to the Difficult terrain. So far, 30 bodies have been recovered and more may be trapped." 

According to the statement of Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackrey, "The Talie incident is unfortunate, here at least 30 persons have lost their lives in a landslide. There are reports of Landslides in other parts of Konkan and my appeal to everyone is to stay safe. Those living in risky terrain should move to safe places. The Chief Minister also said the search operation is still on. Meanwhile, due to heavy rain, some services have also been disrupted and train services have been suspended and cancelled in the Konkan region.
