Andaman and Nicobar reports earthquake
Andaman and Nicobar felt 4.3 magnitude earthquake near Portblair on Monday morning, according to the National Center for Seismology of India.The epicenter of the earthquake was 97 km east (E) of Portblair, Andaman Island and Nicobar, India, the agency said. The earthquake occurred at 1:04 am IST at a depth of 35 km below the surface announced the National Center for Seismology in a new update on its official Twitter account.
"Earthquake, magnitude: 4.3, occurred at 23082021 10:47:04 IST, width: 11.68 and length: 91.56, depth: 10 km, location: 127 km west of Port Blair, Andaman and Nicobar Iceland, India, "The National Center for Seismology said in a tweet. No damage from the earthquake was reported.
