All 9 Patients Infected with Omicron in Rajasthan have been Tested Negative

Patients Discharged from Hospital


The Covid-19 omicron infected patient, who tested positive in Rajasthan's Jaipur have been tested negative with Covid-19.The nine patients have been discharged from the RUHS Hospital after they tested negative.



As per the statement given by the health department, all nine patients are completely healthy and asymptomatic.  The blood, CT scan, and other tests are normal. The doctors advised them to remain in home quarantine for seven days.



Health minister, Prasadi Lal Meena said, "After the report of genome sequencing, the treatment was started by admitting the infected persons to RUHS. Besides this, tracking and tracing of all the people who came in contact with the infected patients were started. Out of nine patients, four were discharged in the afternoon and remaining five was discharged in the Evening after both the reports came negative. All patients have been advised to remain in-home quarantine." 



The fear of omicron is still very concerning, but the recovery is also speeding up. Also, Yesterday (Thursday) a patient from Maharashtra's Mumbai returned back home after getting negative. Around nine patients were returned back and discharged from the hospital after recovery. The government has banned all the flights arriving from risk zones, also travel guidelines and strict checking procedures are taking place at the arrival and departure gates of the airport. RT -PCR has been made mandatory for travelers.
