Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli donated Rs.2 crore
Bollywood Actress Anushka Sharma and Indian cricketer captain Virat Kohli, have joined hands for fundraising for Covid relief, they have donated Rs 2 crore. As the second wave hit the nation, people coming together in donating, with the crowdfunding platform “Ketto” Anushka Sharma and Virat Kolhi has donated 2 crores for this initiative, the campaign also aims to raise 7 crores to help the nation in this tough time.
Seeing the current situation of the nation, Anushka expressed her sadness, about Virat and herself has been disturbed looking the incomprehensible suffering going all over with this, we hope with the aid to raise fund India would be fighting this epidemic, we are playing for the nation to come all over this and she also asks everyone to pray together as we are in this together. Furthermore, Kohli also spoke about “ I know people will come together to support together in this epidemic, with togetherness they will overcome”.
An executive partner of Ketto ACT Grants who is also responsible for this campaign, as ACT is leading helping in providing the necessary facilities required in these tough times also with the support of Anuskha and Virat, donation surely assists in helping more.
The situation is getting worse as each day, the number of people getting infected is rapidly growing higher, many celebrities came together in supporting the nation. Yash Raj Films also launched “SATHI” for helping and supporting the Bollywood workers in providing financial support to each one.
