Arjun Tendulkar made senior debut for Mumbai team as it crashed out.

Arjun Tendulkar, son of legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, made his senior debut for Mumbai team in a Group E game for Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy against Haryana. Tendulkar did not make a striking entry like his father as Mumbai suffered a straight defeat twice and lost to Haryana by eight wickets. Although, Tendulkar managed to take a wicket.

Tendulkar joined the Mumbai squad along with another pacer Krutik Hanagavadi selected by Salil Ankola led selection team. The Board of Control for Cricket in India allowed a total of 22 players to be selected. Earlier, in 2017, Arjun played for U-19 Mumbai team and then was selected for India U-19 squad the next year. In 2018, he participated in India's Youth Test tour to Sri Lanka and has played for the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) Young Cricketers in the Second Eleven Championship in England.
