Arvind Kejriwal Tests Positive For Covid-19

CM Isolates!


On Tuesday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that he tested positive for COVID infection with mild symptoms.

 

According to the tweet, Delhi Chief Minister informed about his health, "I have tested positive for COVID. Mild symptoms. Have isolated myself at home. Those who came in touch with me in last few days, kindly isolate and get tested."

 

Ahead of elections, the Aam Admi Party leader was on his visit to Uttarakhand on Monday to campaign for his party.

 

Also, the Delhi disaster management authority (DDMA) will hold a crucial meeting on Tuesday to discuss the alarming scenario of Covid-19 in the capital city.

 

According to the data, Delhi reported 4,099 cases of Covid taking the positivity rate of 6.46 percent. Under the graded response action plan (GRAP) the positivity rate is taking a shift above 5 percent in the capital city which may lead to a red alert for the National capital Delhi, which may lead to total curfew in the city. Knowing in brief about the alerts, the yellow alert or level 1 alert kicks in a positivity rate of 0.5 percent.

 

Level 2 or amber when the positivity rate touches 1 percent, level 3/orange and level 4 Red are considered when the positivity rate touches 2 percent and 5 percent respectively.

 

The Government is also gearing up with medical facilities and hospital beds around 420 out of 9,029 beds in the hospital are occupied. The Delhi CM and ministers are pushing towards more enhancement and facilities to curb the infection level and control the scenario if any situation arises.
