Australia knocked out Pak in the Semi-Finals, Set to play Finals with Kiwis

Australia beats Pakistan by five wickets in the Semi-Finals of ICC World Cup T-20. The Australian team qualifies to play against New Zealand on November 14, 2021.

The match was held in the Dubai Stadium yesterday. Australia scored 177/5 in 19 overs.

Australia looked in a spot of bother in the chase after being reduced to 96 for five in 12.2 overs. Matthew Wade and Marcus Stoinis produced a sterling unbeaten partnership of 81 runs off just 41 balls to take their team to victory in the semi-final clash against Pakistan.

The Pakistani Capt. seemed disappointed after the 16-over of the Australian innings when the game turned into the opposing team.

After Australia got the triumph over Pak, the losing team faced several trolls and memes on social media platforms. Several of the netizens have expressed their emotions and anger on social media.

Whereas the Former Cricket-Star and the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan has given the heartiest congratulation for playing their best. The PM extended his praise to the team. 

In a tweet by Prime Minister Imran khan, "To Babar Azam and the team: I know exactly how all of you are feeling right now because I have faced a similar disappointed on the cricket field."

"But you should all be proud of the quality of cricket you played and humility you showed in your wins, Congratulations, Team Australia," he added.

According to the Legendary batter Sunil Gavaskar, he praised how the Pak Capt. Babar Azam did his captaincy. He has showcased immense skills not only as a batter but also as a leader of his side.
