Bihar's Bankatwa becomes the first block to complete both doses of Covid vaccine

All the eligible population are inoculated with both doses

East Champaran Bankatwa becomes the first block to complete its vaccination target. The block has been completed with both the doses of Covid vaccine. The eligible population all above 18 years have been jabbed with the doses.

According to the statement, Dr. Ashutosh Kumar, the medical officer said," apart from Bankatwa, residents of neighbouring blocks namely chirriya, Dhaka to name a few were also vaccinated in Bankatwa block and as a result, the number of second dose inoculation surpassed the first dose of vaccination in our block." Adding more he says the administration is keeping an eye on the workers and other non-residents of Bankatwa block " they will be administered the same if remained to be inoculated yet. Lately, we ran a special drive which benefitted a large number of non-residents in the course of their stay in native places during festive occasions."

Many other states are working towards the inoculation process. Many other mega vaccination drives are also taking place in the respective state. The state government is also implementing several services for the population, door-to-door vaccination camp, vaccination on wheels, vaccination at public places, and many drives are a part of it.
