BJP Releases Campaign Song For Punjab Polls

Rajnath Singh To Address Public


On Friday, Ahead of the Punjab assembly elections the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) released a song.

 

The song titled, "Punjab Umar Ke Bola Hum Rang De Basanti Chola" has been released on social media and has been sung by party Lok sabha member and Bhojpuri Singer and Actor Manoj Tiwari.


The BJP has already released its song for other poll-bound states like Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand ahead of assembly elections. The parties are all gearing up for the elections in 2022.


According to the information, Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has given creative inputs for the song and video. Also, Amit Malviya, BJP In charge of the National Information and technology department shared the five minutes long video on his Twitter handle.

 

Information mentions that the song highlights the Narendra Modi government's initiatives for the people of Punjab. It also talks about the Kartarpur corridor, removing GST on langar, and many other things.


Also, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will address public meetings in poll-bound states. He will address Dasuya at 11:55, Sujanpur at 2:15and Gurdaspur at 3:45 pm.


The Punjab state will go for polls on February 10. The counting of votes will take place on March 10. The election commission has given some relaxation in public meetings ahead of the decline in cases of Covid across the country.

 

It has permitted for public meetings to take place with 1000 people with limitations.
