Celebrated Cross Country Biker Dies After Crashing Into Camel

Celebrated biker died in Jaisalmer after crashing into a camel.


A cross country biker King Richard Srinivasan who is a celebrated biker from Bengaluru died in Jaisalmer district of Rajasthan after his motorcycle crashed into a camel, said the police on Friday. The incident occurred in the sub-division of Fatehgarh on Wednesday night when Richard was heading towards Jaisalmer along with three other mates.

The head constable Sonaram Bhati of Sangrah police station said that the camel suddenly appeared in front of Richard’s motorcycle. At first Richard sustained some head injuries after the accident and later he succumbed on Wednesday. On Thursday, After the post-mortem examination  was completed the body was handed over to his family in Bengaluru. On this tour Richard was accompanied by Narayan from Bengaluru and Dr Vijay and Venugopal from Chennai. The tour was to be completed by January 23.

According to various reports King Richard had taken numerous expeditions on his Triumph Tiger 800 starting from Bengaluru and had covered continents like Asia, Europe America and Australia. Recently he had upgraded to BMW’s R1200GS and had planned a new expedition to Africa.
