Centre advises employees 45 and above to get vaccinated

The government said in a statement that all employees are advised to continue follow all anti-Covid protocols, even after getting vaccinated.

The Centre has asked its employees who are 45 and above, to get themselves vaccinated as the number of cases of COVID-19 are rising rapidly in India. The government said in a statement, "All Central Government employees of the age of 45 years and above are advised to get themselves vaccinated, so as to effectively contain the spread of COVID-19."

It further added that all employees are advised to continue follow all anti-Covid protocols, even after getting vaccinated. India is the second worst-hit country after US and it crossed over one lakh daily coronavirus cases for the first time on Monday. A second wave has hit the country as people are not following anti-Covid protocols properly such as wearing masks and maintaining social distance and new mutant variants have also contributed in the spread of the pandemic.
