Cinema Halls and Auditoriums to Reopen

Fresh guideline has been issued


On Saturday, the Odisha Government has decided to reopen its cinema halls and auditoriums of the state. After witnessing a slowdown in the cases of Covid-19 the decision came into the limelight. 50% seating capacity has been made for indoor halls. 

As per the order, special relief Commissioner OK Jena said, Cultural gatherings, programs including melodies, orchestra,jarta, opera, dances, and classical folks can be organized with strict adherence to Covid-19 protocols. Maximum 2,000 people will be permitted with physical distancing and seating arrangements must be made accordingly. 

 

The COVID-19 cases are declining in the state after which the state government took the decision. Also, a fresh standard operating procedure (SOPs) has been issued by the state government to protect people from getting contaminated with the deadly virus.  The state logged 239 new cases of Covid-19 including 37 children which took the overall tally to 10,46,798.

 

According to the health department official, it said the Coronavirus death toll touched 8,391 with 2 fresh fatalities.
