Corona vaccination program in Delhi

Even those who register without registration can get vaccination done from 3 pm to 9 pm


There will be vaccination in Delhi government hospitals from 9 am to 9 pm from today. Vaccination time has also been extended for people without registration. Now people without registration can get vaccinated at any time from 3 pm to 9 pm in Delhi Government Hospital, before they could get vaccinated only till 5 pm. Orders will also be issued to make at least 6 sites necessary on every vaccination center of Delhi government hospital from today (Monday). Health Minister Satyendra Jain said that till now the vaccination was done from 9 am to 5 pm in Delhi, which has now been increased to 9 pm at night. He said that now people have to register to get the vaccine, most of the people visit the vaccination site only after registration. There are also many people who are unable to register themselves, for such people there were only 2 hours a day, they had to go between 3 pm and 5 pm. The minister said that now people without registration can go between 3 pm and 9 pm. The minister said that now if people take an Aadhaar card or ID, then they will be immediately vaccinated.

On March 18, the Health Department issued two separate orders to increase vaccination in Delhi. Which is to come into effect from today (Monday). According to this order, vaccination centers have been ordered to be vaccinated from 9 am to 9 pm.

In the second order, the Health Department has asked the Delhi Government hospitals to increase their vaccination site to at least 6. All new sites have been asked to levy two vaccinators. As per the order, it has been asked to slot 200 vaccinations on one site, which was 100 on one site earlier. Regarding the effect of vaccination, the Health Minister said that the effect of vaccination will not be seen yet, because only two to three percent of the population of Delhi has been vaccinated. This will not have an effect until there is a large number of vaccinations.
