Covid-19 has also spread its wing over the cricket as it hits Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 where 14 members from the broadcast bio bubble have been tested positive for covid-19.On the other hand IPL 2021 is scheduled to start from 9th of April,2021 and the matches are between Royal Royal challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Mumbai Indians(MI) in Chennai.

Board of Control for Cricket India's (BCCI)  trouble has increased where 14 members have tested positive and include directors, EVS operators, Producers,  cameraperson, producer and video editor.

According to the report, The team was staying at a four seasons hotel in Mumbai.  Where after getting approached,  star sports head, Sanjay Gupta was refrained from making comments and asked to collect details from BCCI and it is also been learned that the star expressed its apprehensions to BCCI regarding the hosting of IPL 2021 matches at Mumbai's Wankhede stadium.

Meanwhile, Royal challengers Bangalore (RCB) Announced that Devdutt Padikkal has also tested positive for Coronavirus and earlier Delhi capital's all rounder, Axar Patel also tested positive for coronavirus and still is under quarantine. 

Mohammad Azharuddin, Hyderabad Cricket Association president tweeted that, "In these difficult times, there are all more reasons for us to stand by each other. Hyderabad cricket association would like to offer its facilities to @BCCI to ensure that IPL 2021 is a safe and secure venue.

Whereas Saurav Ganguly sounded confident and said that ,matches could go in Mumbai and said that the IPL didn't stop when a similar incident took place last year in United Arab Emirates (UAE).
