Covid 19 Report Mandatory for People Entering Maharashtra from Delhi, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Goa.

Maharashtra Government announces Covid Negative Report Compulsory for People entering the state.


A Covid 19 negative report from an RT PCR test will be needed for the people travelling to Maharashtra from Delhi -NCR, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Goa. The State witnessed a Surge in covid-19 cases and was worst hit by covid-19 but now is in a recovery process. In keeping with the guidelines and to control the situation further, the state government  has mentioned that people travelling from these states have to undergo a check.

The rules mentioned that the passengers from both flights and trains have to show the negative test report before boarding for flights that have to be undertaken 72 hours before the landing and for the train that time is 96 hours and will apply to the train that alters or terminates in the stations.For train passengers who have not conducted RT PCR test will be tested for symptoms at patients when they get off if they have any symptoms they will have to undergo Rapid antigen test in case of road travel passengers from the concern States will test for the virus through rapid test kits

Cabinet minister Vijay Waddetiwar, said that "The state will take a call on whether it would allow flights trains and roads travel to Delhi within 8 days by which time existing lockdown rules will expire.
