Covid-19 restrictions have been extended in Haryana till September 6. The state has not implemented any new restrictions whereas old ones will take place as usual.

On Saturday, chief secretary Vijai Vardhan issued an order stating," The Mahamari alert surakshit Haryana is extended for another fortnight that is from 23rd August 5 a.m. onwards to September 6 till 5 a.m. in the state Haryana along with the guidelines to be implemented during this period issued with earlier orders."

Manohar Lal Khattar extended the Mahamari alert surakshit Haryana for another fortnight. The government has also directed the responsible authorities to keep a continuous focus on the fivefold strategy -trace, track, test, vaccination and Covid-19 appropriate behaviour for effective management of Covid-19. 

According to the order, all Covid-19 related guidelines including those related to social distancing, sanitisation and seating capacity will have to be followed. Whereas Universities and colleges will be allowed to reopen for students for doubt classes, practical classes, laboratories, practical examination and offline exams with strict adherence to covid-19 related protocol. Swimming pool clubhouses and golf courses can be open with 50% capacity, sports complexes and stadiums are also allowed to open for kids for outdoor sports activities except contact sports.
