Covid-19 test mandatory for visitors traveling to Bihar

Reportedly, if people traveling to Bihar are not found vaccinated, the government will make arrangements for their inoculation.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday announced those travelling from other states to Bihar during the festive season of Diwali and Chatth have to undergo the Covid-19 test. Chhath festival is important for the people of Bihar as it is celebrated mainly in the state itself and its neighbouring states.

As per the information, if people traveling to Bihar are not found vaccinated, the government will make arrangements for their inoculation.

Meanwhile, the state police have also been directed to remain alert. "Security forces, as well as the people of the state, must remain vigilant during the ongoing festive season to prevent anti-nationals from succeeding in their nefarious designs. I have also been taking regular review meetings for better coordination between the civil administration and police," said the statement.
