Covid-19 Vaccine Will Be Available In Couple Of Weeks- P.M. Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has stated in the all-party meeting that ''cheap but effective'' vaccine will be available in India soon


Prime Minister Narendra Modi in an all-party meeting and discussion with both parties of parliament on Friday stated that in next few weeks, Indian manufacturers would be able to produce the much-awaited covid-19 vaccine.

Narendra Modi has also discussed about India’s vaccine developer. “Experts believe we don’t have to wait for a long period to get a vaccine. It is understood that in next few weeks, Covid vaccines will be ready. The government is waiting for a go-ahead from the scientists". 

However, according to sources, the high-priced Pfizer vaccine has already got emergency authorization from UK and vaccination is set to start next week, on the other hand Prime Minister Modi declared that his government is awaiting for a vaccine which is made in India only. “The world is looking at a cheap but effective vaccine against Covid-19. The world is looking at India. You can be assured our scientists are working hard. Eight Covid vaccines are at different stages of preparedness in India. This includes the three Indian vaccines that are at different stages of trials.'' and he stated that teams of Central and state governments are working in unity for the distribution of vaccine.
