Crew's Box Office Figures Steady on Day 6

Tabu, Kareena Kapoor, and Kriti Sanon's Film Maintains Consistency on Day 6

In New Delhi, the latest film "Crew" starring Kareena Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Tabu made a strong debut at the box office, raking in Rs 30 crore during its opening weekend. However, the movie faced a significant decline in earnings, with a 60% drop observed on its first Monday. This downward trend continued, with further decreases in earnings on Tuesday, indicating a gradual slowdown in box office momentum.

As per a report from Sacnilk, "Crew" garnered Rs 3.25 crore on Wednesday, showcasing resilience by maintaining a steady revenue stream despite the weekday slowdown. The film sustained an overall 11.60% Hindi occupancy on Wednesday, adding to its cumulative six-day earnings of Rs 40.70 crore..

"Crew" follows the journey of three air hostesses portrayed by Tabu, Kareena, and Kriti, whose lives undergo a dramatic transformation after they discover a deceased passenger smuggling gold biscuits. This revelation unfolds against the backdrop of their airline, Kohinoor, grappling with financial troubles and the looming threat of bankruptcy.

Reportedly, "Crew" has been released across 2000 theaters and premiered in over 75 countries, spanning more than 1100 locations. The estimated budget for the film, covering production and advertising expenses, stands around Rs 60 crore.

"Crew" opened to largely mixed reviews, with film critic Saibal Chatterjee giving it 2 stars out of 5 in his review for NDTV. He remarked, "Crew would have been much more fun if only it knew how to buoy things up with strokes of genuine inspiration. Yes, that is what is sorely missing in a film that goes for gold but fails to find a source of sustained sparkle."

Produced under the banners of Balaji Telefilms and Anil Kapoor Film & Communications Network, "Crew" boasts an ensemble cast including the three leading ladies alongside Diljit Dosanjh, Kapil Sharma, Saswata Chatterjee, Rajesh Sharma, and Kulbhushan Kharbanda.
