The committee headed by Congress MP Anand Sharma said that it felt that it is a serious issue that a large number of people are not getting the second dose of vaccine, while new types of Covid-19 are coming out in different parts of the world.

The report states, 'The committee ,therefore, recommends that all health workers in advance fronts and corona warriors including CAPF (Central Armed Police Force) and policemen of state and union territories be given the recommended dose of vaccine. Efforts should be made to cover as many people as possible at the earliest. '
