The Delhi government has introduced the new rules and the curfew will be implemented from Tuesday night. Curfew time will be set between 10 pm and 5 am daily until 30 April. Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain on Tuesday said the AAP government had warned us of the crisis and was closely monitoring it. Working with journalists, he also said more than 12 lakh people have been vaccinated in Delhi so far.

Jain's comments about the disease came just hours after the Delhi government imposed a ban on domestic work in the capital from 10 pm to 5 am until April 30 due to an increase in COVID-19 cases. The city had recorded 3 548 new cases on Monday, and 15 other people became infected with the virus, which rose to 11,066, according to the Delhi health department. So far this year, there has been only one day when the quality level was more than 5 percent, he said.

"This practice needs to be monitored, and we need to keep a close eye on it. Currently, the quality level has exceeded 5 percent across the country. However, in Delhi, we are fully awake and vigilant," Jain said. He said the practice was being monitored, and the Delhi government was "fully aware".
