"Don't believe Rumours" Says: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched India's biggest vaccination drive on 16th January 2021. This day is the starting to eliminate illness and effect of the pandemic COVID-19. Prime minister has also ensured the recipients to be safe and healthy after the dose. Also, avoid the false rumours regarding the vaccination.

Prime Minister has cautioned the recipients that they must stay vigilant and maintain all precautions against the virus, including masks and distancing while having their vaccination.

India has started one of the biggest vaccination drives that aim to vaccinate three crore health and other frontline workers. The Prime Minister during a live conference has stressed his concern over not to fall into rumours and propagandas over the vaccines. According to Prime Minister, "The DGCI approved once they were satisfied with the information of the 2 vaccines. Therefore the data from rumours." "Our vaccine developers have global credibility. Life-saving vaccines given to 60% of children globally are made in India" he further added.

PM has also said that the Indian vaccines are cheaper than global vaccines. Also, the vaccines are compatible with Indian weather conditions. He also compared the vaccines compatibility with other vaccines which should be stored within -70 degrees Celsius. During the conference, the Prime Minister remembers the heart-wrenching incidents that had happened within the lockdown due to the pandemic COVID-19. "It takes years to create a vaccine, however in such a brief time, not one but 2 Made-in-India vaccines were developed. This can be a testimony to the abilities and talent of our scientists," said the PM.

Over three lakh health care employees are set to be inoculated on the primary day of the drive that Health Minister Harsh Vardhan aforesaid was "probably the start of the end" of COVID-19.
