Elderly and diseased to get vaccinated

Starting today, elderly and 45- to 59-year-old patients will receive the Corona vaccine. They will be able to register vaccination on the www.cowin.gov.in portal or Arogya Setu app from 9 am in the country including Delhi. Registration will also be available at all vaccine centers. Registration will be done for every day from 9 am to 3 pm.


From today onwards, the vaccinations of sick people of 45 to 49 years and all those above 60 years are starting in the entire country including Delhi. Private and government hospitals where there were already vaccinations for healthcare workers and frontline workers, there is no need to do much preparation. However, hospitals will be more alert given the side effects of the vaccine.

In this regard, Dr. Ashish Chaudhary, managing director of Aakash Hospital, said that there was a meeting with the health department on Sunday. All preparations have been reviewed. Monday is the first day.How many people will come, it will be known only on Monday. But from Tuesday, everything will go smoothly. He said that he currently has 2 sites and the government is the team for vaccination on both sites. Till Monday, the government team will be here, from here onwards our team will do the competition.

Partha Sarathi Goswami, head doctor of medical services at Manipal Hospital, said that they currently have 2 centers. Right now, the government team is doing vaccinations at both the centers, but in the meeting, we have been asked to prepare our team. We are starting our team training, soon our team will be ready. He said that till now we used to get the goal of giving 200 doses in a day, but most of them could have been from 140 to 150, but now the vaccination is starting for the common people, so the leprosy can increase. At the same time, Dr. Sandeep Nayar, the nodal officer of BLK Super Specialty Hospital, said that the Covin app is not open yet, so it is difficult to say how crowded it will be from Monday. But, as far as preparation is concerned, we have 3 sites here. Starting today, the walk-in will also be vaccinated, so we are preparing. But together the frontline and health care workers will continue to vaccinate. He said that the vaccination team in his hospital is still from the DM, but it will not happen next. So, our team is also getting ready together.

Regarding this preparation, Dr. Suresh Kumar, Medical Director of LNJP Hospital said that our team is already working on a large scale, now three sites are running, we can increase our capacity as per the need. Dr. Ajit Jain of Rajiv Gandhi Super Specialty Hospital said that he currently has a site of vaccination. Now, there will also be vaccination for the elderly above the age of 60 and sick people aged 45 to 49 years. Ajit said that the DM of the vaccination team is still in his center, but the hospital team is also involved in his sport.
