Entry of Petrol, Diesel, Vehicles Ban in Delhi till December 3

Only CNG vehicles permitted


On Wednesday, the Delhi government banned the entry of petrol, diesel vehicles in the National capital and decided to permit the entry of CNG or electric vehicles into the state from November 27.

The entry has been banned till December 3.


According to the statement given by Delhi Environment Minister, Gopal Rai, "we have decided to allow the entry of all CNG vehicles, electric vehicles into Delhi from 27 th November. The entry of all other vehicles to remain banned till 3rd December." Adding more he said, "Normal functioning of. Delhi government offices will also resume from 29 th November. We advise them to use public transport to commute. Special bus service will be started where the maximum number of Delhi government employees reside."  Also, The resumption of schools and physical classes are permitted in the city from November 29 in the city.


The entry of trucks except Essential items was banned in the state till November 21. The construction activities were also shut until further order. 


The pollution level in the National capital remains constant in the "very poor " category. The air quality index (AQI) remains at 330 today in the Capital city. For the last 10 consecutive days, the city is reporting the same air quality. On Wednesday the air quality index (AQI)  remained 280 which comes under the "poor category."
