Farmers’ Leader Rakesh Tikait Warns ‘March To The Parliament’

Rakesh Tikait warns march towards the Parliament by the protesting farmers

Farmer leader Rakesh Tikait on Tuesday while addressing the Kisan Mahapanchayat of United Kisan Morcha in Sikar, Rajasthan said that if the three farm laws are not repealed by the Center the protesting farmers will ‘gherao’ Parliament. He appealed to the farmers to be ready as the call for ‘Delhi March’ can be given at any time.

Tikait said “This time the call will be for Parliament gherao. We will announce it and then march towards Delhi. This time 40 lakh tractors will be there instead of 4 lakh tractors.” He added that the protesting farmers would plough the parks near India Gate and grow crops there. The united Front leaders will decide the date to gherao the Parliament said the farmer leader.

In his address at the Kisan Mahapanchayat, Tikait said, on January 26 there was a conspiracy to malign the farmers of the country when the violence broke out in the national capital during their tractor parade. He said “The farmers of the country love the tricolor but not the leaders of the country.”

Farmer leader Tikait clearly stated that if the center dose not repeal the three farm laws and does not implement the MSP then the farmers of the nations will demolish the godowns of the big companies and for this the United Front will soon give the dates.

The mahapanchayat was also addressed by the Swaraj movement leader Yogendra Yadav, the National Vice President of All India Kisan Sabha Amra Ram, National General Secretary of Kisan Union, Chaudhary Yudhir Singh and others.
