From no bed in Hospitals to no beds in hotels

Manali witnesses tourists crowd after Covid-19 relaxation in the State. This rush came after the state Government removed Covid-19 negative RT-PCR to enter in the state, whereas E-pass is still mandatory.


After almost 15 months Manali is again witnessing tourist crowd, after Covid-19's second wave where medical resources were out of stock and unavailability of beds and oxygen was also observed.

Tourists from Delhi, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh are seen rushing towards Solang valley,vashisht, Kufri Shimla, Manali,Narkanda and other tourist attractions to enjoy the beauty of the state and adventurous activities such as rock climbing, trekking, and river rafting in the beas. This sudden crowd was observed after the state government removed negative RT-PCR for visitors to enter the state. Meanwhile, E-pass is still mandatory to enter the state.

Talking about the business crisis in the states, earlier it was seen that Covid-19 has impacted the state badly where the arrangement of two squares meals was a hardship. But, now hotels are full-fledged with tourists and are running packed, even drivers and taxi cab services are also busy again.

Meanwhile, Twitter was flooded with reactions and memes as the picture from Manali went viral. Many expressed concern and anger over impatient tourists and even funny memes were shared over social media. The third wave of Covid is expected to hit in August or early September.
