Government extends Suspension of International Flights till 30 April,2021.

Scheduled international passenger services in India have been put on hold since March 23, 2020 due to the Covid-19 epidemic. Now the suspension of flights has been extended till 30 April,2021. India has broken into 'Air Bubble' agreements with 27 countries including the US, UK, UAE, Kenya, Bhutan and France.

Aviation regulator Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) declared on Tuesday that the suspension of scheduled international passenger flights has been extended till April 30,2021. The flights were suspended because of the Coronavirus. The DGCA said, "Although, international scheduled flights may be permitted by the competent authority on case-on-case basis"

International passenger services scheduled in India are suspended from March 23, 2020 due to Covid-19 epidemic. However, special international flights have been operating under the Vande India Mission since May and under bilateral 'air bubble' arrangements with select countries since July.

International air travel is occurring on both VBM and air bubble arrangements for permitted categories of travellers.

ndia has set foot into 'Air Bubble' agreements with 27 countries comprising the US, UK, UAE, Kenya, Bhutan and France. Under this 'air bubble' agreement between two countries, special international flights can be managed between their regions by their airlines. The DGCA notification also stated that the suspension does not influence the operation of international all-cargo operations and flights approved by it.
