Gujarat launches statewide mega vaccination campaign
A statewide vaccination mega campaign will be held in Gujarat from today to make people aware of vaccination and to vaccinate everyone, Home Minister Amit Shah is also scheduled to visit three Covid-19 vaccination centers, including one in Ahmedabad.
The celebration of vaccination in the presence of ministers, leaders, dignitaries at more than 1000 vaccination centers in 33 districts and 8 Municipal Corporation areas. Moreover, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani will participate in the vaccination festival at the Primary Health Center in Gandhinagar. As of today also the youth would not have to register in advance for vaccination. They will be able to get walk-in vaccines.
Seeing the safety of the country, the state government has also increased the number of vaccination booths to 5,000 so that the vaccine can be easily made available to every citizen in their neighborhoods.
A state like Madhya Pradesh and Bihar would also start mega vaccination campaigns in their states.
