Gujarat Government issues Covid Guidelines


Amid Rising in the cases of Deadly COVID and the New Variant Omicron which has led towards closure of many renowned places, schools, educational institutions, and other things. The Gujarat Government has also closed one of the Renowned temples of Gujarat," Shree Lord Dwarkadhish Temple of Lord Krishna."  


According to the information, the Lord Dwarkadhish Temple Will be closed from January 17(today onwards) till January 23. The closure of the temple came ahead of Purnima which creates an overcrowding-like scenario in the temple premises which could lead to more infection and a rise in COVID cases in the state.


With Dwarkadhish Temple many other temples including Ranchhodraiji temple at Dakor and Shyamlaji temple will also remain closed on Monday. 


According to the official statement, "To reduce rush for devotees and keeping in mind the pandemic situation, the temple will remain closed for devotees until January 23." 


As per the information given, "Nearly 2.59 lakh devotees were expected to arrive on Monday and hence this decision was taken. All the Rituals can be attended online. For Shyamalji temple around 15,000 devotees were expected to arrive, said the manager. Adding more he said the increasing number of Covid cases have led us to shut the temple " said the temple official.

 


The Gujarat Government has also issued COVID guidelines to curb the infection level in the state. As per the guidelines it includes an attendance capacity of 150 persons in open spaces and 59 percent capacity of a closed space venue not exceeding 150 persons.
