Gurgaon achieves 100% vaccination milestone

First state in Delhi - NCR to complete the target


On Tuesday, the health officials informed that Gurgaon becomes the First state in Haryana and the National capital region (NCR) to inoculate the population with both doses of Covid-19 vaccination. 

 

The state achieved its milestone for covering 100 percent vaccination with both doses of the Covid-19 vaccine to the population. 

 

According to data provided by the Health Department, 100 percent of people have been given the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine. So far, the department has administered 41,28,596 doses of the Covid-19 vaccine, of which 23,18,720 are the first dose. A total of 18,08,876 people has been given the second dose including, health workers, frontline workers, senior citizens, pregnant women, and transgenders.

 

According to the state by IANS, District civil surgeon said, "Gurugram having 100 percent immunization in the district, is a new record in itself. Gurugram has the most affected in the state during the second wave of the pandemic but how the district residents and the team of health department have contributed with determination to break the vicious cycle of the coronavirus and take the vaccination campaign to the pinnacle of perfection which will pave the way of inspiration for the big cities of the country and other districts of the state. "said Dr. Virender Yadav.

 

Many states are achieving their inoculation target and achieving a milestone. Himachal Pradesh and many more states have completed the target.
