Covid-19 cases are increasing gradually whereas fear for the third wave of Covid-19 is at its peak. Meanwhile, Himachal Pradesh was witnessing a large number of tourist crowds in the state after which certain measures were taken to stop the spread of Covid-19 as well as minimize the tourist crowd.

On Wednesday, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jairam Thakur said that cases of Coronavirus disease are increasing gradually in the state. He said the cabinet decided that apart from allowing people with negative RT-PCR  rest reports, those who have been vaccinated will also be allowed to enter the state.

According to the statement by ANI, Himachal Pradesh CM said "Covid cases are gradually increasing. The cabinet has decided that besides allowing the people coming with RT- PCR negative test reports, those who have been vaccinated will be allowed in the state. Another Cabinet meeting will be held on 10th August. He said that Covid-19 restrictions will be introduced in Himachal Pradesh to curb the spread of viral disease. "It is a worrying subject but the increase in Covid-19 is not Rapid." said the CM.

Meanwhile, Himachal Pradesh's caseload stood at 2,06,589. Including 3,523 deaths ,1,414 active cases and 201,652 recoveries.
