On World Health Day Hardik Pandya discusses about the importance of Mental Health


Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya on Wednesday realized the importance of mental health while playing cricket even though he thanked his family for giving him the “Right Space“. Hardik Pandya said in a video posted by Mumbai Indians on its Twitter handle. “When I play international cricket, mentally I realize because of the kind of pressure that comes into your life, life changes for us, but as an individual, you need to cope with all the things,” Hardik said in a video.

As the pandemic has affected Mental health from last year with covid circumstances where it becomes difficult for the player to play in a biosecure bubble, where their life is too limited to hotel and stadium only. On world’s health day, Hardik spoke about the importance of physical fitness.

Hardik's brother Kunal, who recently made his India ODI debut against England spoke about how hard he worked for his “Inner happiness and Peace”. He apprises, inner peace is where you can sleep for 8 hours and laugh for 4-5 hours.

Other Indian cricketers like Anukul Roy and Rahul Chahar also spoke about the importance of physical fitness on World Health Day.
