India administers over 105 crores Covid-19 vaccination: Health Minister

 On Friday, union health Minister, Mansukh Mandaviya informed about the inoculation, India administers 105 crore Jabs of Covid-19 vaccination. Adding more the Ministry said the daily vaccination tally is expected to increase with the compilation of the final reports by late night.

 

As per the tweet, the  Health Minister tweeted "105 crore vaccines is victory! Congratulations to the people as  India  #Covid_19 vaccination drive achieves new accolades."


 

Meanwhile, a few weeks before India achieved a milestone for the historic moment of inoculating 100 crore Covid-19 vaccination jabs. The Prime Minister called it a historic moment and greeted the population for achieving the target. Also, other states such as Madhya Pradesh have started a mega vaccination campaign to inoculate the population further. 


 

The countrywide vaccine drive was rolled out on January 16 the first phase of inoculation was for the health care workers and medical staff. For frontline workers, it started on February 2. After which for people aged above 60 and 45 were jabbed from 1 march onwards and later for 18 plus population it started from May 1.


Ahead of Diwali,  many more states are running several initiatives to jab the population, door to door vaccination vaccine of wheels are the initiatives run by other states to inoculate and achieve the target and make India Covid-19 free.
