India Defend 187 Runs Against West Indies In The Second T-20I

India has done it again; India defeated West Indies by 8 runs to lead the three-match series by 2-0.

Now, India became only the second team to gain such victory. India has lost the first place, as it was occupied by Pakistan. Pakistan team has played 189 T20Is and has gained 118 victories, while India played only 155 matches, winning 100, losing 51 and four no results.

West Indies won the toss and decided to bowl first. India was put to bat first, but India’s opening batsman got out early during the match.

It was Virat that took the charge and scored a half-century to take care of the innings. But he got unlucky and was clean bowled by Roston Chase.

Rishabh Pant scored another half century for India while playing only 28 balls. All-rounder Venkatesh Iyer also contributed to the total of 186 runs with scoring 33 runs in just 18 balls.

West Indies started explosively but later Indian bowlers took the charge in the innings. Ravi Bishnoi took the wicket of B.King who was looking dangerous.

Finally, Nicholas Pooran and Rovamn Powell together pulled the West Indies to a distance from India by adding 100 runs of 60 balls together. Their individual scores define 62 off 41 balls by Pooran and 68 off 36 balls scored by Powell.

India will face West Indies on 20 February for the series finale.
