India Records Nearly 3,000 New COVID-19 Cases In 24 Hours

Rapid raise in Covid-19 Daily cases!


With a surge in Covid-19 Daily cases. India is speeding up its count. At least 3,303 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours were reported in India.

 

As per the information, the increment in daily cases took the total number of infections to 4, 30, and 68,799.

 

 According to the Union Health Ministry, the active cases increased to 16,980, with 701 new active cases in 24 hours.

 

The country also reported 39 deaths today, bringing the total number of Covid-related fatalities to 5, 23,693.

 

According to the statement given by the ministry it said, the active cases comprise 0.04 percent of the total infections, while the national COVID-19 recovery rate was recorded as 98.74 percent, the ministry said.

 

On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a meeting to review the Covid scenario in the country. The meeting was chaired by PM Modi along with Chief Ministers of all the states. Also, the prime minister guided the priority to be given to the students, and kids who are eligible for inoculation will be done on a prior basis.

 

Delhi (4508), Haryana (1983), Uttar Pradesh (1316), Kerala (2660), Karnataka (1728), Maharashtra (943) recorded the maximum number of active cases as compared with the other states.

 

As many as 2,252 people have recovered from Covid in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of recovered cases to 4, 25, and 25,563.
