India vs Australia: India conquers Gabba Test Series in a historic win 2-1

In the 4th Test against Australia, India completed a target of 328-run to win the series.

In a remarkable victory of India against Australia in the Gabba Test series, young, vibrant and ferocious Indian players brought honour to the country by battling their way to the Border-Gavaskar Trophy despite several hardships. In the fourth and final test in Brisbane, the Indian team completed a target of 328-run to win the series by 2-1. Gabba is the same place where Australia has been tasting victory since 1988. West Indies was the last team to defeat the Aussies in their fortress.

India made a historic three- wicket win on the fifth day of the final test series.  The Indian team crossed numerous hurdles such as racial abuse, multiple injuries, quarantine, absence of captain Virat Kohli (who is on paternity leave) as well as the key players and came back with a bang on face-off. The Indian team led by Ajinkya Rahane, did not make a good start scoring the lowest ever Test innings with a total score of 36 in Adelaide but proved their worth by leaving everyone speechless and giving a spectacular performance by the end of the series.

Rishabh Pant, Man of the Match, reached the finishing line by scoring the winning runs and remained unbeaten at 89. Along with Pant's final determining score, Shubhman Gill (91 off 146 balls) and Cheteshwar Pujara (56 off 211 balls) led the team to its victory.  Pat Cummins was declared Man of the Series as he was the highest wicket taker and took 21 wickets in the 4 Tests.
